This policy explains how ICW Powermode handles personal data collected through this website and through enquiries made to our Luton factory and London office.
Who we are
ICW Powermode is a UK manufacturer of low voltage switchgear and power distribution systems, registered in England & Wales under company number 04843321, VAT number GB848619286. Our registered manufacturing facility is at 2 Barratt Industrial Park, Airport Way, Luton, LU2 9NH, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us. If you contact us by email or telephone, we hold your name, company, contact details and the content of your enquiry so that we can respond and, where relevant, prepare a quotation. We do not operate an online account system and we do not take payments through this website.
How we use it
Personal data is used to answer enquiries, provide quotations, deliver contracted work and keep project records. We rely on legitimate interests for responding to business enquiries, and on contract performance where we are working with you on a project. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained for up to two years. Records relating to completed contracts are retained for the periods required by our statutory, insurance and warranty obligations, after which they are securely deleted or destroyed.
Sharing
We share personal data only where necessary: with our professional advisers, with subcontractors engaged on your project, and with authorities where we are legally required to do so. Any processor acting on our behalf is bound by contract to protect your data.
Cookies and embedded content
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Pages that show our factory video embed it through YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not set tracking cookies unless you play the video. If you play it, YouTube may set cookies under its own privacy policy. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Email enquiries@icwpowermode.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
