Derry Building Services secured the upgrade to the existing infrastructure works at the above site and subsequently employed ICW Powermode to implement the 4.5MVA Power infrastructure resilience programme.

The utmost attention was needed at the planning stage to ensure that the facility maintained the necessary resilience during the staged works, no loss of supply was paramount. Due to the diligence and ICW Powermode engineering expertise of the execution, the facility gained the total back up necessary for full Tier 3 status without any undue or unforeseen outages.

Utilising the existing space constraints ICW Powermode undertook the design and staging of implementing and installation of three new 1.5MVA Cast Resin Transformers, Busbar Interconnections, 1 No Main 2500A Critical Switchboard and a Generator Sychronisation Switchboard together with all necessary controls integrated with the existing system.

Other sites similar to the above for which ICW Powermode have carried out infrastructure replacements are Morley Fund Management, Marsh McCleland, Cap Gemini and British American Tobacco.
