Replacement of Main LV Switchboard was required as a part of the existing stringent requirements operated and used by RBS.

ICW Powermode were contracted by Arthur McKay to design, manufacture and install a new Switchboard that could replace the existing without the need to divert any of the existing cable works.

After careful consideration and attention to design detail. ICW Powermode manufactured a Form 4.5 LV Switchboard to BSEN 61439 standards and replaced each section of switchboard at agreed timescales. From Friday evenings to Sunday afternoons relevant sections would be transferred out in a very orderly and professional manner allowing the facility to trade as normal on Monday morning.

All control system applications and EMS were coordinated, integrated, tested and functional within the period shutdown. Prior liaison with the incumbent FM and on-site teamwork ensured a satisfactorily outcome and endorsement.
